Getting Started
What is Livvent?
Livvent is a business platform that provides two standalone services: Online Ordering — a fully branded ordering system on your own domain with QR code support, kitchen routing, and analytics — and POS (Point of Sale) — a complete in-store point-of-sale system with inventory management, loyalty programs, and multi-terminal support. Both services can be used independently or together.
How do I register my business?
Click "Get Started" on our homepage, fill out the registration form with your business details, select your preferred service (Ordering, POS, or both), choose a plan, and submit. Your account is activated instantly with a full 1-month free trial — no charges, no commitments. After registration, set up your dashboard and menu, then submit for approval when you're ready to go live.
Do I need both Ordering and POS, or can I use just one?
Both services are fully standalone. You can sign up for just Online Ordering, just POS, or both together. There's no requirement to bundle them. Choose exactly what your business needs.
Pricing & Free Trial
How does the 1-month free trial work?
Every new business gets 30 days completely free from the date of registration. During this period: zero monthly fees, zero commission on all orders, and full access to all features of your selected plan (both Ordering and POS). No credit card or payment method is required to start. If you choose not to continue, simply let the trial expire — no charges, no commitments.
What happens after the free trial ends?
After the 30-day trial, your selected plan's pricing takes effect. Monthly/annual subscription fees and commission charges begin applying to orders. Any applicable setup fee (e.g., for the Enterprise plan) is charged at the end of your 2nd month, giving you a full 60 days before any one-time costs are due. You can cancel anytime before billing begins with no penalty.
When is the setup fee charged?
Setup fees (where applicable, such as the Enterprise plan's one-time setup fee) are not charged upfront. They are billed at the end of your 2nd month — giving you two full months to evaluate the platform before any one-time costs kick in.
What are the Ordering plan prices and commissions?
We offer three Ordering plans: Starter — free monthly fee, 10% commission per order; Balanced Growth — monthly fee applies, 5% commission per order; Enterprise — one-time setup fee, 0% commission (you keep everything). All plans include the 1-month free trial. Visit our homepage for the latest pricing in your country.
What are the POS plan prices and commissions?
POS is a standalone service with three tiers: POS Essential — monthly/annual subscription, 10% commission; POS Growth — monthly/annual subscription, 5% commission; POS Enterprise — one-time setup fee, 0% commission. POS plans also include the 1-month free trial. Annual billing is available on Essential and Growth for significant savings (displayed as an effective monthly rate, billed annually).
Payments & Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. Subscription payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. For commission-based billing, fees are automatically deducted from order payments before payout to your account.
How does annual billing work for POS plans?
On annual billing (available for POS Essential and POS Growth), the full yearly amount is paid upfront. The price displayed is the effective monthly rate (yearly total divided by 12), but the charge is a single annual payment. For example, if the annual price is 490, it shows as ~40.8/mo but is billed as 490 for the full year — giving you approximately 2 months free compared to paying monthly.
Online Ordering
How do customers place orders?
Customers visit your branded ordering website (on your own domain), browse your menu, add items to their cart, and checkout. They can pay online or choose cash on delivery (based on your settings). Orders route directly to your kitchen and order management dashboard in real time.
Can I track orders and deliveries?
Yes. Every order is tracked in real time from placement to delivery. Your dashboard shows live order status, and customers receive a tracking link to follow their order. Delivery partners also have their own app to manage deliveries efficiently.
Can I cancel or modify an order?
Customers can cancel or modify their order within a short window after placing it (configured by the business). After that window, changes can be requested by contacting the business directly through the order details page.
POS System
What is the POS system and do I need it?
Our POS system handles in-store sales — billing, receipts, cash drawer management, inventory tracking, kitchen display, employee shifts, and loyalty programs. It's ideal for restaurants, cafes, retail stores, and any business with walk-in customers. It's completely optional and works independently from the Online Ordering service.
What's the difference between POS Essential, Growth, and Enterprise?
POS Essential is for single-terminal setups with core billing, inventory, and daily reports (10% commission). POS Growth adds unlimited terminals, kitchen display, loyalty & coupons, and advanced analytics (5% commission). POS Enterprise includes everything in Growth plus custom hardware, dedicated onboarding, white-glove setup, SLA-backed support, and API access (0% commission, one-time setup fee).
General
What if I have an issue with my order or account?
For order issues, contact the business directly through the order details page. For account, billing, or technical issues, use the Support section in your business dashboard or reach out to our team via the Contact page. We're here to help resolve any issues promptly.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard's Plan page. Plan change requests are reviewed and applied within 24 hours. You can also cancel your account at any time — during the free trial there are zero charges, and after the trial, cancellation stops all future billing.
